Defensive Handgun Classes

Defensive Handgun I & Front Sight 

$125

This is a 3 to 4 hour civilian class for introduction to defensive handgun with a front sight skill builder.  Will discuss safety, teach and assess dry fire draw and presentation skills of each student before live ammunition exercise. Shooting from ready or strong side outside the waistband holster will depend on student’s comfort level and demonstration of competency with safe handling, draw stroke, holster work and presentation during dry fire exercises.  Students need 100 to 150 rounds, firearm, holster and safety gear for the range. A certificate awarded after completion of class.  Students with a score 80% or higher on the range qualification test will receive a Defensive Handgun I skill level rating the certificate. Defensive Handgun II & Shooting On the Move

This is a 3 to 4 hour civilian class for intermediate defensive handgun with a room clearing skill builder.  Will discuss safety, teach and assess dry fire draw and presentation skills from concealment and on the move of each student before live ammunition exercises. Shooting from concealment and on the move from strong side outside or inside the waistband holster will be determined by student’s comfort level and demonstration of competency with safe handling, draw stroke, holster work and presentation during dry fire exercises. Will need 150 to 200 rounds. Concealed Handgun License (CHL) / Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) permit required (resident permit, unless state does not issue, or non-resident permit acceptable or Defensive Handgun 1 certification. Can be waived if evidence of training provided (military/civilian/law enforcement) or other proof of defensive handgun classes taught by certified NRA instructors or well-known organizations.  Certificate awarded after completion of the class. Pass the FBI qualification (pass/fail) range test and receive an FBI skill level rating on your certificate! Course taught by Certified Defensive Handgun instructors.

Defensive Handgun III

$150

This is a 3 to 4 hour civilian class for intensive defensive handgun course with a low light skill builder. This is to prepare for practical everyday carry shooting from various places and positions. Induced stress during live fire shooting for stress inoculation. Will need 150 to 250 rounds. Certificate awarded after completion of the class. Concealed Handgun License (CHL) / Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) permit required (resident permit, unless state does not issue, or non-resident permit acceptable or Defensive Handgun 2 certification. Can be waived if evidence of training provided (military/civilian/law enforcement) or proof of defensive handgun classes taught by certified NRA instructors or well-known organizations. Student's attempting and passing the U.S. Air Marshal qualification range test (pass/fail) will receive an U.S. Air Marshal skill level rating on the certificate. Course taught by Certified Defensive Handgun instructors. 

F.A.S.T Handgun

$100

This is a 4 hour course is to provide the student with a solid foundation in basic knowledge of handgun "Fundamentals and Safety Training". Will need 50 to 100 rounds. Students must score 80% or higher on the range qualification test to recieve a certificate. Course taught by Certified Defensive Handgun SAFTD instructors.

Defensive Handgun I & Low Light

This is a 3 to 4 hour civilian class for introduction to defensive handgun with a low light skill builder.  Will discuss safety, teach and assess dry fire draw and presentation skills of each student before live ammunition exercise. Long Distance Rifle Classes

Long Distance Rifle

$150

One day class. Introduction to long distance shooting. Cold bore ballistics, gear, equipment, ammunition, range calling techniqes, barrell harmonics, shooting techniques, and long rifle selection. Must bring rifle and ammuntion for 100 yard zero and ballistics readings.

 

 

Long Distance Rifle II

One day class. Intermediate long distance shooting class. Shooting at 200, 600, 1000 yards known and unknonwn distances.

 

 

Long Distance Rifle III

Coming Soon! Fall of 2020

One day class. Advanced long distance shooting class. Shooting at 200, 600, 1000 yards known and unknown distances on unlevel terrain, off obstacles, and in unconvential positions. Timed shooting for stress innoculation. Wind and range calling techiques and tactics. 

 

Long Distance Rifle Ballistics Calculations Course

$150

This is a one day classroom only course designed to teach ballistics software, tools, and techiques. Attendees are highly encouraged to have experience with long distance shooting and scope fundamentals (this is not an iron sights workshop). We promote a friendly and professional environment that puts new shooters at ease and is a skill builder for the long distance competition and hunting. We specialize in making you comfortable while giving you the best learning environment possible
